Lakers, Fiesta Hermosa and Friends

In the last couple week I have had friends in town from KC and DC while it was Hot Hot Hot in LA. The beach was fantastic and visiting with friends is always a great time. [above photo of people waiting to get into the Poop Deck in Hermosa].

The Lakers playoffs has been a blast too. Above is a photo outside of Staples Center...Who would have thought that LA has mounted police...but we do.


Congrats Lakers for making it to the NBA Finals!!!
Fiesta Hermosa was this past weekend which is a lot of fun even though it was a chilly 75 degrees out.

Beckham In The South Bay In LA: Carson, CA

I have been coming to see the LA Galaxy since the Home Depot Center opened but last night was the first time I have been since Beckham has arrived. First thing I noticed....the stands are full. They had more than 27,000 in attendance. Second thing was the NY Red Bulls...that is the name of the team and guess who their sponsor is? Yep! Red Bull. I thought it was bad when sponsors named arenas but now they name the teams. Oh well it's kind of a cool name but I am happy the Galaxy is not the Herbalifes.

It was a very exciting game. It is always a good time and if you are star struck you can find celebs like Tom and Katie there too

Endless Summer Classic Car Show: Hermosa Beach

I was going to Hermosa for some lunch and I came across the car show...how can you miss it it was on Pier Plaza. There were a few cool cars but .....look for yourself.





WOW! Where did that come from? That was not part of the car show. Actually this was an accident near my home. Don't worry she is fine...well until she goes to court.
